New Product Line: Snowflake Postage Stamps!

Hello everyone!! As many of you may know, I have been working very hard on my online store. I’ve also been editing and posting a lot of photos, and even some videos lately. First Accumulating Snow!

At around 2:00AM EST in Greenville, MI we had our first accumulating snow of the 2012-2013 Winter season! I had been monitoring the potential for snow a couple of days prior. The computer models showed a clipper system coming out of Canada, moving ESE toward Michigan. The WRF had a pretty good handle on what this clipper was going to do. I waited all night, watching the radar, and sure enough, light snow began to steadily overspread the area. One batch of heavier snow 26dbz to 32dbz developed right on top of me and gave me some heavier snow showers to get video and pictures of. This is also the first real snow test for my Canon PowerShot SX40 HS digital camera. So I was quick to take advantage of this opportunity. Mom & Chuck’s Turkey Recipe

My Mom and I made a turkey breast (bone in) for Thanksgiving 2012. It turned out absolutely amazing, and this is the first time her and I have ever collaborated on a turkey before. The smell was so wonderful while it was cooking that I couldn’t get to sleep until well after 5 in the morning!. The leftovers are just as good as day one, and let me tell you, I am so stuffed I can barely burp. I’ve had some interest into this turkey recipe from my facebook friends, and I figured I’d share the whole thing, right out here in the public for everyone to enjoy! This recipe is great for a Christmastime turkey as well. Or anytime for that matter. I snapped some images along the way through it’s cooking process also. Those are included below.
